About our Outreach Grant Program from the Opportunity Shop.

Each year we have two opportunities for nonprofit organizations to apply for Grant Funds here at the Opportunity Shop. Our Spring Grant Cycle opens February 15th, and the closing deadline is 5 p.m. on our last business day in March. Our Fall Grant Cycle opens August 15th, and the closing deadline is 5 p.m. on our last business day in September. (Please find applications and Guidelines above.)

As of December 2024, The Opportunity shop have gifted well over $353,273.90 back to the Dubois and Crowheart Community’s through these Grant Programs alone. This figure reflects the funding amounts that were used but doesn’t include the entire amount that non-profits were granted and the funding that was unused, and either forfeited or returned for various reasons. The amount that has been granted to our communities since 2011 is over $430,000.00!

 We have many other outreach programs that give funding and necessities to people in need.  It is all made possible because of the wonderful people that donate their new and used goods for re-sell. The Shops success could not happen without all our dedicated customers, volunteers and employees. We are blessed to live in this supportive community of Dubois that we love to call home!
